Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s upcoming romantic comedy The Drama has secured its 2026 premiere date.

Deadline reports that the A24 rom-com will come to theaters on April 3, 2026, playing against Illumination and Nintendo’s The Super Mario Galaxy Movie during the Easter weekend.

According to Deadline’s sources, the film’s storyline is being kept close to the chest.

However, what sources were able to suss out is that Zendaya and Pattinson are playing a couple whose love story veers into unexpected territory before their wedding day.

The film is written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli and also stars Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim and Hailey Gates.

Borgli and Tyler Campellone serve as producers via Dilemma Films in collaboration with A24. Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen will also produce via Square Peg Films.
