Ever heard of The Sheep Detectives? Well, now you have, and we also have the first trailer.

Based on Leonie Swann’s book, Three Bags Full, The Amazon MGM Studios film stars Hugh Jackman as a loving shepherd who reads detective stories to his flock. But soon, the sheep themselves have to use what they learned from those books to solve their own mystery.

According to the official description:

In this witty, new breed of mystery, George (Hugh Jackman) is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, the sheep realize they must become the detectives. As they follow the clues and investigate human suspects, they prove that even sheep can be brilliant crime-solvers.

The film stars Jackman, Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine and Molly Gordon with Hong Chau and Emma Thompson. The ensemble also includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O’Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, Brett Goldstein and Rhys Darby.
