In Sherman, Texas, a Texas Roadhouse location announced on Facebook that it will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Texas Roadhouse is telling its customers that all 736 locations nationwide will be closed on Christmas to give employees a chance to spend time with their families. According to Rolling Out, the restaurant has made it an annual tradition to give employees time off on Christmas Day. More than 10,000 Texas Roadhouse employees will have the day off for the holiday, Rolling Out reported. The restaurant also extends the same gratitude to employees on Thanksgiving Day.

Texas Roadhouse plans to operate with normal hours after Christmas. The restaurant will once again have reduced hours on New Year’s Eve, but it will be open on New Year’s Day.

In addition to Texas Roadhouse, several other restaurants will be closed on Christmas Day. Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse, which are owned by Darden Restaurants, are among the eateries that will be closed for the holiday. Much like Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden has announced that the closure will give employees a much-needed break and a chance to enjoy the holiday with loved ones.

Other restaurants that will be closed on Christmas include Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, Taco Bell, Chili’s and Cracker Barrel. Popular stores Hobby Lobby, T.J. Maxx and Marshalls and IKEA also plan to close, as Blavity previously reported.
