Squid Game: The Challenge returns for a gripping second season. This time, 456 brand-new contestants will enter the ultimate test of strategy, alliances, and endurance as they compete for a life-changing $4.56 million prize. Inspired by the iconic original series – with shocking new twists and never-before-seen games – season two raises the stakes higher than ever. As players face elimination at every turn, only one can emerge victorious. New players. New games. New rules.
Here’s what last season’s cast told us
Last season, Blavity’s Shadow and Act talked with some of the standout contestants, including Ashley, who discussed her game plan–a plan she said no one would shake.
“I’m secure in my mind and in myself. When we were up on the bridge and the guys were trying to pressure everybody to agree…I was like, ‘whatever.’ I’m walking onto this bridge with a very low number. I’m not doing anything I don’t need to do,” she said. “You can’t have expectations for me. …I was going to play for me. That’s what I came in doing since Day One, playing for me, and I don’t know why anyone had false expectations of me. I’m chasing four million dollars.”
