‘RHOP’s Stacey Rusch’s QVC Clips Go Viral – Blavity
Stacey Rusch is proving to be the breakout cast member of The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s new season.
Even Bravo honcho Andy Cohen recently revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that the former QVC staple is the best casting decision in recent Housewives history. Her effortless shade has become a trending topic on social media as Season 10 is currently airing, and as her former QVC clips resurface, fans are seeing she’s always been that girl.
The resurfaced clips were instigated by a tweet from Coleman Spilde, and the clips are making their way through various social media platforms. In one clip, she describes a bumblebee brooch, saying, “Don’t you just love bumblebees? They do so much for us, put a smile on our face every time we see them. Just like a little bee, right? His big, fat little body, with those little wings… he thinks his work is impossible! Yet he pollinates; he does it all. It’s the incredible bee.”

In another clip, she is getting into the holiday spirit and describes a cascade of fall iconography, tracing the leaves and sunflowers and pumpkins. In another, she describes the “herald” of an embroidered camel, “sending a message of what’s to come… and you know what was coming? That miracle — the miracle of Christmas.”

Like RHOA’s Nene Leakes, Rusch is quickly becoming a meme queen, and her confessional statements and clapbacks are cementing her in pop culture vernacular. In a recent chat with Blavity’s Shadow and Act, she spoke about why she feels she’s become a standout to fans, and she says it’s all due to her authenticity.
“I think that at the end of the day, I am always me. I am unapologetic in the way that I approach my life with gratitude, with God first, with happiness, [and] a little quirkiness,” she said. “And so it doesn’t matter what people say, it doesn’t. It doesn’t matter how people may sometimes receive me upon meeting me, like many women in the group. I think that you will see me be myself. And if you are someone who loves being celebrated for the person you are and not conforming to what everybody else wants you to be, I think that you’ll fall in love with me. And I think that you will laugh and have a great season.”
