Lamarr Wilson, the 48-year-old tech influencer, has died.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Wilson died by suicide in November. The autopsy report came out after Dec. 13, when Wilson’s family confirmed his death, People reported.

Wilson gained millions of fans on social media with his vibrant personality and immense knowledge of tech gadgets. The influencer especially focused on sharing valuable information about phones, computers and gaming systems. Between YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, Wilson gained more than 3 million followers.
Wilson’s LinkedIn page states that he was a contributor to the Daily Tech News Show podcast for a decade. He also appeared in the debut episode of Takei’s Take, a series produced by George Takei from Star Trek.

On his 48th birthday on Oct. 22, Wilson wrote about how he changed his life after facing a health scare.
“Today is my 48th birthday & I’m down 48 pounds!” he wrote on Instagram. “It shouldn’t take a health scare like I had this year to get your #%&$ together, but hey, it worked, & I’m losing it all naturally, now that I figured out the discipline.”

Wilson told his fans that he felt good and he was “genuinely at peace.”
“A key is keeping people out of my life who are determined to disrupt it with their inner chaos,” he said. “We’re not here on this Earth long enough to tolerate that. Don’t let that happen to you! Have a great day & I’ll see you in video!”
Wilson made his last post on Instagram on Nov. 12 and reviewed some holiday tech gift ideas. Fans are now leaving comments on Wilson’s page to send their condolences to his family.
