Former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss shared a Thanksgiving photo of her family on Instagram. But it’s Mama Joyce’s smile in the snapshot that has everyone talking, along with Todd Tucker’s absence from the family gathering.
Did Burruss and Tucker get a divorce?
According to the Atlanta Black Star, the singer-songwriter filed for divorce from Tucker on Nov. 21, and fans wondered why he wasn’t celebrating the holiday with his family.
Burruss, 49, and Tucker, 52, share two children, Blaze, 6, and Ace, 9. She also has a 23-year-old daughter, Riley, with her ex, Russell Spencer, and Tucker has a 28-year-old daughter, Kaela, with his ex, Keema Parker, per the Atlanta Black Star. Kaela was in the snapshot with the family, but her father wasn’t present for the photo.
“Happy Thanksgiving! I truly enjoyed my day with my fam. I hope you enjoyed yours! Now I feel stuffed like a turkey & need to lay down,” Burruss wrote in the post’s caption.

Burruss’ explanation about Tucker’s absence and social media comments
She also addressed any questions fans would have about Tucker’s absence and wrote, “Before anyone assumes anything, Todd came earlier to eat with us but he wasn’t there for the pic. He was not left out or anything like that.”
