With his newest sketch, comedian and influencer Druski has folks laughing while questioning megachurch pastors who seem to live large by exploiting their congregations.

Druski’s latest parody calls out megachurch pastors
The sketch opens with Druski suspended high in the air before a packed congregation while singing along to Kirk Franklin’s 1998 hit “Revolution.” He also sports luxe designers Christian Dior and Christian Louboutin.
“People ask me why I’m wearing Christian Dior and Christian Louboutin,” he says in the clip. “It’s because I’m a Christian, and I walk in the blood of Jesus,” referencing Louboutin’s signature red bottoms.
Earlier in the clip, Druski tells an elderly woman in the crowd named Wanda, who cannot have a baby anymore, that he “impregnated her with the word of God.”

In the sketch, Druski announces that the church is raising $4 million for a mystery project in Zimbabwe, adding that no one’s allowed to leave the church without coughing up money.
Shortly after Druski is seen praising one of the parishioners for donating his “life savings,” the skit cuts to him counting stacks of cash.
How are people reacting to Druski’s parody about megachurch pastors?
According to The Grio, one user wrote, “He’s not mocking God. He’s mocking your pastors.”
Some people felt like Druski went too far: “Poking fun at mega churches is common, but this didn’t sit right with my spirit. I know for sure he wouldn’t create the same content toward any other religion,” one person shared.
Another person replied, “He literally joked about false prophets though. He didn’t tell any lies neither.”

As Blavity reported in April 2025, Sapp, who serves as the senior pastor of The Chosen Vessel Church in Fort Worth, Texas, received death threats following a viral clip that showed him telling ushers to close the church doors until the congregation donated $40,000.
“I never said lock the doors. I said shut the doors,” Sapp said during an interview with The Rickey Smiley Morning Show at the time. “Shutting doors mean that people still have the ability to go in and out. They’ve taken issue with my tone and I can honestly say looking at the video maybe I was a little more assertive than I should have been. I can apologize for that.”
He also denied receiving a cut from the $40,000, saying, “Not a dime of that money came to me.”
Back in 2015, CNN reported that Creflo Dollar, the founder of Atlanta’s World Changers Church, asked his congregants to donate $300 apiece so that he could purchase a $65 million jet.
