All The Sinners Bleed at Netflix is continuing to fill out its cast, this time adding an All American star.

Deadline reports that The CW series alum Daniel Ezra and Andrea Cortés have been added to the cast of the upcoming series starring Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù. Previously reported cast members include Nicole Beharie and John Douglas Thompson.

What’s the plot of ‘All The Sinneres Bleed’

Based on the S.A. Cosby novel of the same name, All The Sinners Bleed stars Dìrísù as the first Black sheriff in a small southern, Bible Belt county. According to the article, “Haunted by his devout mother’s untimely death, he must lead the hunt for a serial killer who has been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God.”

Who will Daniel Ezra and Andrea Cortés play in ‘All The Sinners Bleed’

Ezra is set to play Marquis Crown, the brother of Dìrísù’s character Titus Crown. Cortés will play Titus’ coworker, Deputy Carla Ortiz. They round out Titus’ core group of people close to him in his life, which also includes his girlfriend, Darlene (Beharie,) and his father, Albert (Thompson).

Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever co-writer Joe Robert Cole has adapted the series for Netflix and will also serve as showrunner, executive producer and director for the premiere and other episodes.

Other executive producers include the Obamas’ Higher Ground Productions as well as Amblin Television. Cosby also serves as an executive producer.
