Alicia Keys took to social media to celebrate her son’s birthday. In an Instagram post, the Grammy-winning singer congratulated Egypt, whom she shares with husband Swizz Beatz, on turning 15 last week. She shared snapshots of their family life, including videos of Egypt playing the piano.

Keys shared an Instagram Reel of Egypt throughout the years, in which he is seen taking part in various activities, including playing the piano and basketball. The singer also included several family photos of her posing with Egypt and Swizz.
“Ever since you were little you loved this thing. You just kept at it and at it. Everything you touch is magic,” Keys can be heard saying in the Reel.
In the caption of the post, Keys celebrated her son’s birthday and congratulated him on his various achievements.
“I admire your spirit, the fabric of your character, your kindness, your passion, your determination your DRIVE!!” she wrote in part.
Keys shares two sons, Genesis and Egypt, with Swizz Beatz. According to Essence, their blended family also includes the producer’s children, including Kasseem Dean Jr. whom he shares with his ex-wife, Mashonda Tifrere, Prince Nasir, whom he shares with his ex-partner Nicole Levy, and Nicole Dean, whom he’s had with Jahna Sebastian.

Alicia Keys has previously shared Egypt’s talent for the piano
Keys has used her platform to showcase her son’s talent in the past. In 2022, Egypt performed on stage alongside his mother at one of her shows in Mannheim, Germany. Keys has shared videos of her son playing the piano at home since then. Although Egypt showcases talent as a piano player, he has shared that he doesn’t plan on pursuing a career in music.“Well, I love music, but I don’t really want to be a musician.
