Actor Tony Germano Dies From Fall After Inspecting Roof Renovations – Blavity
Brazilian actor Tony Germano died on Wednesday at age 55. Germano, who starred in Netflix and Nickelodeon productions, died after a fatal fall his home in São Paulo during renovations, a representative told People.
“It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of actor and voice artist Tony Germano on the morning of Wednesday, November 26. Tony suffered a fall at his residence and, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries,” the rep told People in a statement.
As People reported, the “actor was inspecting roof renovations in São Paulo before he fell, according to multiple local outlets.”
The family asked for “respect and understanding during this painful time.”
“Tony leaves behind a legacy of dedication, generosity and immense talent that touched everyone who had the privilege of working with him. His absence will be deeply felt,” the family stated.
Loved ones held a service for Germano on Thursday. A burial is also scheduled for the beloved actor, the rep said.

Germano is known widely for his performance as a voice actor in Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, as well as Go, Dog, Go! on Netflix. He also performed on the Disney soundtrack of Beauty and the Beast in 2017. Additionally, Germano’s voice is featured in Elena of Avalor and The Muppets, People reported.
On stage, Germano performed in The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon and Jekyll & Hyde.

Matheus Marchetti, the director who worked alongside Germano in Labyrinth of Lost Boys, also paid tribute on Instagram.
Marchetti said Germano was a “father figure” on set and he was “someone any of us could count on.”
“I am so lucky to have found a soul as generous, as talented, and as endearing as Tony Germano. It’s a gift from the rarest of all,” Marchetti wrote.
